fa بررسی کیفیت هیدروچار تولیدی از پسماند قهوه مصرف شده و تعیین ارزش حرارتی آن Evaluation of hydrochar quality and high heating value derived from spent coffee grounds عمومى General پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: افزایش روزافزون پسماند قهوه مصرف‌شده، نگرانی‌های ‌محیط زیستی فراوانی ایجاد کرده است. این پژوهش با هدف ارزیابی کارایی فرایند کربونیزاسیون هیدروترمال در تبدیل این پسماند به سوخت جامد با ارزش انجام شد. روش بررسی: مطالعه‌ آزمایشگاهی با استفاده از نرم‌افزار طراحی آزمایش و روش سطح-پاسخ انجام شد. اثر متغیرهای مستقل دما (Co 290-180)، زمان (min 90-30) و نسبت وزنی آب-به-پسماند خشک (L:S برابر با 15:1-1:1) بر ویژگی‌های هیدروچار بررسی شد. مجموعا 20 آزمایش طراحی و آنالیزهای فیزیکوشیمیایی برروی هیدروچار و آب فرایندی انجام گرفت. یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که مدل درجه دوم توانایی بالایی در پیش‌بینی بازده هیدروچار (HY) و ارزش حرارتی بالا (HHV) دارد (0/98 > R2). آنالیز واریانس نشان داد که هر سه متغیر مستقل اثر معنی‌داری بر HHV  و HY داشته‌اند. میزان HHV و HY محصول تولیدی به‌ترتیب MJ/kg 28/5–17/9 و 77/2–17/5 درصد بوده است. آنالیز سطح-پاسخ نشان داد که در دمای Co 235، زمان min 180 و نسبت L:S 4:1، هیدروچار تولیدی کیفیت مطلوبی به لحاظ HY و HHV دارد. نتایج بهینه‌سازی نشان داد که دمای Co 229، زمان min 160 و نسبت L:S 4:1، سبب حصول هیدروچار با HHV و HY به‌ترتیب برابر با MJ/kg 27/8 و 67/9 درصد شده که مطلوبیت 0/891 داشته است. آنالیز CHNSO نشان داد که نسبت H/C و O/C در هیدروچار کاهش و مساحت سطح از 2/4 به m2/g 12/6 افزایش داشته است. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج مطلوب HHV هیدروچار تولیدی، می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که فرایند پیشنهادی می‌تواند روشی مؤثر برای تولید سوخت جامد از زیست‌توده‌ها باشد.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Objective: The increasing accumulation of spent coffee grounds (SCG) has raised serious environmental concerns. This study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of the hydrothermal carbonization process in converting SCG into a valuable solid fuel.. Materials and Methods: An experimental study was conducted using the design of experiments (DOE) approach and response surface methodology (RSM). The effects of key independent variables—including temperature (180–290 °C), reaction time (30–90 min), and liquid-to-solid ratio (L:S, 1:1–15:1)—on the properties of the produced hydrochar were investigated. A total of 20 experiments were carried out, and physicochemical analyses were performed on both the hydrochar and the process water. Results: The results indicated that the quadratic model demonstrated strong predictive capability for hydrochar yield (HY) and higher heating value (HHV) (R² > 0.98). Analysis of variance showed that all three independent variables had significant effects on HY and HHV. The produced hydrochar showed HHV of 17.9–28.5 MJ/kg and HY of 17.5–77.2%. Response surface methodology identified 235 °C, 180 min, and L:S 4:1 as optimal for desirable HY and HHV. Optimization indicated 229 °C, 160 min, and L:S 4:1 yielded hydrochar with 27.8 MJ/kg HHV, 67.9% HY, with 0.891 desirability. CHNSO analysis showed a decrease in H/C and O/C ratios and an increase in surface area from 2.4 to 12.6 m²/g.
