fa ارزیابی وضعیت پسماندهای رها شده در محیط شهر بهبهان در سال 1402 براساس شاخص پاکیزگی محیط Study of the litter in urban environment in Behbahan in 2023 based on the clean environment index عمومى General پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: پسماندهای رها شده یکی از آلودگی‌های متداول در محیط‌های شهری هستند که ناشی از رفتار شهروندان در عدم دفع صحیح پسماند است. هدف از انجام این مطالعه بررسی تراکم و ترکیب این نوع پسماند در شهر بهبهان و تفسیر وضعیت آلودگی با استفاده از شاخص اختصاصی است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی تراکم پسماندهای رها شده و ترکیب اجزاء آنها در محیط شهر بهبهان به روش مشاهده بصری ارزیابی شد. نتایج بدست آمده از تراکم و ترکیب پسماندهای رها شده با استفاده از شاخص پاکیزگی محیط که یک تکنیک رتبه بندی محیطی از نظر شدت آلودگی به پسماندهای رها شده است تفسیر شدند.   یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد میزان تراکم پسماندهای رها شده در محیط‌های مورد مطالعه item/m2 0/011 تا item/m2 0/954 بود. میانگین تراکم پسماندهای رها شده در کاربری‌های تجاری، مسکونی، و تفریحی به ترتیب 0/809، 0/196، و item/m2 0/011 بود. فراوان‌ترین پسماند رها شده در محیط شهری ته سیگار بود که به طور میانگین 61 درصد از کل پسماندهای رها شده را تشکیل می‌داد. شاخص پاکیزگی محیط برای محل‌های مورد مطالعه در دامنه 0/39 تا 32/56 محاسبه شد که نشان داد 63/6درصد از محل‌های مورد مطالعه در وضعیت پاکیزه و متوسط و 36/4 درصد در وضعیت کثیف بودند. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به سهم چشمگیر ته سیگار در ترکیب پسماندهای رها شده در شهر بهبهان و همچنین تاثیر آن در افزایش شاخص پاکیزگی محیط، توجه به مدیریت کارآمد این پسماند ضروری است. بیش از یک سوم محل های ارزیابی شده بر اساس شاخص پاکیزگی محیط در بدترین شرایط یعنی رتبه "کثیف" بودند که نشان دهنده لزوم ارتقاء کارایی سیستم نظافت شهری است.    </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Objective: Littered waste is one of the most common forms of pollution in urban environments, primarily caused by citizens’ behavior in waste disposal. This study aimed to investigate the density and composition of littered waste in Behbahan, Iran, in 2023 and assess the pollution status using a specific environmental index. Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study evaluated the density and composition of littered waste in Behbahan's urban environment using visual surveys. The findings on the density and composition of abandoned waste were interpreted using the Clean Environment Index, an environmental ranking method that assesses the severity of litter pollution. Results: The study revealed that the density of littered waste in the surveyed areas ranged from 0.011/m² to 0.954/m². The average density of littered waste in commercial, residential, and recreational land uses was 0.809/m², 0.196/m², and 0.011/m², respectively. Cigarette butts were the most common type of litter, constituting 61% of the total waste on average. The Clean Environment Index values for the surveyed locations ranged from 0.39 to 32.56, indicating that 63.6% of the sites were categorized as clean or moderately polluted, while 36.3% were classified as extremely polluted. Conclusion: Given the significant proportion of cigarette butts in the composition of littered waste in Behbahan and their impact on the pollution index, efficient management strategies for this type of waste are crucial.
