fa اندازه گیری غلظت گاز رادن در هوای داخل اماکن مسکونی و عمومی شهر نورآباد ممسنی و برآورد دوز موثر دریافتی آن Measurement of radon concentration in indoor air of residential and public buildings in Nourabad Mammasani city and estimation of its effective dose هوا Air پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: گاز رادن یکی از عوامل خطر محیطی در هوای داخل است که مواجهه با آن سبب افزایش ریسک سرطان ریه می‌شود و پس از سیگار دومین عامل سرطان ریه شناخته می شود. بنابراین هدف از این مطالعه اندازه گیری غلظت گاز رادن در منازل مسکونی و اماکن عمومی شهر نورآباد ممسنی و برآورد دوز موثر دریافتی ناشی از مواجهه با آن بوده است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه 52 منزل مسکونی و 8 مکان عمومی جهت اندازهگیری غلظت گاز رادن هوای داخل مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. اندازهگیری غلظت رادن هوای داخل به روش غیر فعال با استفاده از آشکارسازهای ردپای آلفا (CR-39) به مدت سه ماه انجام گرفت و پس از این مدت آشکارسازها برای شمارش تعداد ردپاها به آزمایشگاه ارسال شدند. یافته ها: نتایج نشان میدهد، میانگین (± انحراف معیار) غلظت گاز رادن در هوای داخل منازل مسکونی و اماکن عمومی به ترتیب (14/7(±42/4 و ) Bq/m320/1(± 32/9 بود و در همه محل های نمونه برداری، غلظت رادن کمتر از مقادیر استاندارد سازمان حفاظت محیط زیست آمریکا و رهنمود سازمان جهانی بهداشت بوده است. همچنین دوز مؤثر دریافتی سالانه ناشی از گاز رادن در منازل مسکونی به‌طور میانگین mSv 1/07 تخمین زده شد. ارزیابی نتایج به‌دست آمده نشان می دهد که در مورد منازل مسکونی رابطه معنی‌داری میان نوع اتاق و تعداد طبقه با غلظت رادن وجود دارد. نتیجه گیری: نتایج این مطالعه بیانگر این است که غلظت گاز رادن به‌عنوان یک عامل خطر محیطی در محل های مورد بررسی کمتر از حدود اعلام شده در رهنمود سازمان جهانی بهداشت بوده و احتمالا نقش قابل ملاحظه‌ای در ایجاد اثرات بهداشتی منتسب به آن ندارد.  </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Objective: Radon gas is one of the environmental risk factors which can increase the risk of lung cancer and it is well known as the second-leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. The aim of the present study was to investigate indoor radon gas concentration in residential and public environments of Nourabad Mammasani city and to estimate the effective dose due to radon exposure. Materials and Methods: In this study, 52 homes and 8 public places were investigated to measure the concentration of indoor radon gas. Indoor radon concentrations were measured using passive sampling approach, alpha-track detectors (CR-39) for three months, and after that, detectors were sent to the laboratory to count the number of tracks. Results: The results of this research showed that the average radon concentration (± SD) in the homes and public places was 42.4(±14.7) and 32.9(±20.1) Bq/m3, respectively. All radon concentration values were lower than the US Environmental Protection Agency standard and WHO guideline. The average of annual effective dose due to the radon exposure in homes was estimated to be 1.07 mSv. The evaluation of the results showed that there was a significant relationship between the room type and the number of floors with radon concentration in the residential buildings. Conclusion: The results indicated that the indoor radon concentration as an environmental risk factor in the studied places was lower than the WHO guideline levels.
